About Twiice Group
The Twiice Group was founded in 1994 after Tin Korver had spent three weeks holidaying in South Africa, and like many others before and after him, had fallen in love with the country. Back in Amsterdam Tin sold his telecommunications company and began the groundwork to starting up a new business in what was to be his new home, South Africa. Tin realised that there was a gap in the South African market for quality office furniture and so after making contact with a large Dutch furniture supplier he shipped his car to Johannesburg laden with brochures - so was the dawn of Twiice! With business card in hand, Tin's next strategy was sitting in hotel bars and restaurants listening in on conversations between business owners and then finding an appropriate time to introduce himself. It was at such a meeting that Twiice landed their first business deal with the Managing Director if Ciba Geiga Pharmaceutical Company - since then, there has been no looking back for the Twiice Group.
Following the success of the showroom in Johannesburg - now based in Rosebank - Tin realised that there was a definite need for such a design showroom in Cape Town and so opened one in the fashionable area De Waterkant - after a few years Twiice moved to a more palatial building in Bree Street, an emerging street in Cape Town that is now considered highly "fashionable". Tin transformed a neglected three-story building into a vibrant display for the iconic furniture design pieces.
Twiice's success lies with the strong ethos of never compromising on quality. The belief is very much design orientated, having a strong vocal voice against copies and encouraging design in all aspects - encouraging it to be at the core, original! As well as this strong belief in originality, it is the strong belief in customer service - for Twiice the sale does not end at any point, we believe in relationships - people buy from people, and we will offer support, trust, guidance in every way - and of course, a product you will love!
As a sign of recognition of high service level and quality, Twiice were awarded the highly sought after contract for the installation of office furniture for the new Johannesburg Stock Exchange building which now dominates the Sandton skyline - they were elected from an initial ten candidates on the basis of their high quality furniture and the guarantee on products. Other projects subsequently to be awarded to Twiice have been ING Barings Bank, JP Morgan, KLM, Oracle, Union Bank of Switzerland, Young and Rubicam and MTN - to name just a few.

Twiice Philosophy
At Twiice quality is tops, as is our mission statement - quality is a habit. We believe in educating the buyers, and ensuring them that quality does not have to mean empty pockets but is an investment. Quality comes with guarantees! Twiice is vehemently against copying and is vocal in the argument! The time invested in research of a designer product is years, sometimes - as in the case of the Panton chair - decades, to get it right. It is a labour of love and to just emulate a chair is a disrespect in many ways, as it is also impossible to promise and to match the quality of the original. Twiice believes in education, it is not the consumer's fault that they are purchasing copies, as they are now aware. So, it is up to us to speak to the shopper. to make them aware, to inform.
